Meet the family, values and colourful personalities behind Höttr Country Co., a Canadian-owned, family-run country business built in London, Ontario and serving surrounding communities.
I'm a high school teacher who believes creativity, preparation, heart and genuine connection can turn a simple idea into something truly memorable. Teaching has shown me the power of encouraging others, creating welcoming experiences and helping people of all ages discover the confidence to try something new.
I'm a city girl, born and raised in London, Ontario, who somehow ended up with a country-sized heart, a serious cow obsession and enough boots and shoes to require their own postal code. I love country music, fashion, art, inventing and brining people together, and yes, I've always been a little extra.
Höttr Country Co. is where all those pieces finally found their home. It's my colourful Canadian dream, built to bring something fresh, welcoming and full of personality to people of every age.
The encouragement, creativity and helping hands of my family and friends have helped turn this dream into something real. Their belief in Höttr, and in me, has been part of every step forward.
And Miss Eh-ttitude? She isn't just our mascot, she reflects my personality: colourful, creative, community-minded, confidently sassy and never afraid to stand out from the herd.
I believe supporting local dreams strengthens entire communities, because one person really can make a difference.
Höttr-say it like e"Hattr"
Centries before trucker hats, patch bars and cow print, the Old Norse word hǫttr meant hat or hood. WE gave that a little piece of history a colourful Canadian twist, added some contry character and a healthy dose of Eh-ttitude, and Höttr Country Co. was bor.
Apparently, great headwear has always known how to make an entrance.
